Institution Verification
Every college on PathPort is verified.
PathPort does not list every institution in a destination — only those that meet our registration, eligibility, and conduct criteria. Here is what we check and how we monitor ongoing compliance.
Every listed institution holds the registration its own destination requires of a provider enrolling international students — the regulator, the scheme and what it audits differ by country, and each destination page names its own. Which institution types are listed also follows the destination: universities, colleges, schools, government providers, academies, language institutes and training providers are all supported.
Onboarding criteria
Registration with the destination's regulator
Every institution must hold the registration its own country requires to enrol international students. PathPort verifies that registration, under whatever it is called in that destination, before listing.
Eligibility to sponsor a study permit
The institution must be eligible to submit study-permit applications to its destination's immigration authority on behalf of enrolled students. PathPort confirms this with each institution before listing.
Programme validity
Programmes listed on PathPort must lead to a qualification recognised in their destination, at any level the platform supports — from certificates and vocational courses through the diploma tiers to bachelor's, master's and doctoral degrees.
Fee schedule accuracy
Institutions must provide a verified fee schedule. PathPort cross-references fees shown on course pages against the institution's official invoices to ensure accuracy.
Institutional contact verification
PathPort verifies a named admissions contact at each institution before onboarding. Anonymous institution accounts are not permitted.
Signed institutional agreement
Each institution signs a PathPort Platform Agreement before gaining access to the institution portal. The agreement defines responsibilities, timelines, and conduct standards.
Ongoing monitoring
Application response times are monitored. Institutions not responding within 5 business days of an application are flagged for review.
Offer letter and immigration-document upload timelines are tracked. Systematic delays result in a formal review process.
Student complaints naming a specific institution are logged and reviewed quarterly.
Registration status with the destination's regulator is checked annually. Any lapse results in suspension from PathPort pending resolution.
Institutions that request PathPort to misrepresent fees, timelines, or immigration status are removed from the platform.
Report a concern about a listed institution
